It has been 5 1/2 years from the day that we met. Our friend Mary did the honors of introducing us. We have asked Mary to be the maid of honor at the wedding because she has shared such a special part in our relationship from the start. Over the last several years, Jim and I have shared many experiences; some happy, some sad and some challenging. These experiences have made us realize that we want to spend the rest of our lives together.

Well, we are just four months away from the big day. We have been busy getting all of the details together for our trip. I hope you have been preparing as well. Please be sure that all paperwork for your passports must be completed shortly, if you have not already do so. It takes about 5-6 weeks for the paperwork to be processed. If you have any questions about the process, please let either Jim or I know and we will be glad to help you.

When packing your bags, please keep in mind that the cermony will be casual and will be held at sunset on the beach. The average temperature at that time of day is 80 - 85 degrees. Shoes are optional for the cermony but you will need them for the reception.

We are working on the final arrangements for our reception. The details will be finalized once we have an idea of the number of people that will be attending. We will update you as we have more information. I can tell you that we have many fun things in store for all of the guests.

Please remember that a passport is required to travel to Cancun. In the event you do not have one, you should know that it takes approximately 6 weeks to be processed. The application for a passport is available on-line at http://travel.state.gov.

We are truly excited about both our wedding day and spending time with all of you. Each of you has touched our lives in so many different ways. We are thankful for all of the support you have given us over the past several years. Whether you will join us in Cancun or celebrate with us upon our return, we are so happy you will be sharing this special time with Jim and I!
